Exhibition of paintings for four days

BANGALORE:
The Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat will host an exhibition of paintings by artist Rachana J. Damam from April 30 to May 3.
Mani to inaugurate
Well-known artist J.M.S. Mani will inaugurate it.
Lyricist Hamsa Lekha and founder-trustee of Artistes Foundation For the Arts (AFFA) Nandini Alva will participate in the inaugural function. With a Master of Visual Arts (Painting) degree from the parishath, Ms. Rachana bagged an award from the Karnataka Lalitkala Academy in 2005.
Camps
Ms. Rachana has participated in several camps organised for artists, including the one organised this year by the Upasana Foundation in Samse.
Ms. Rachana was part of the "Women and culture camp" organised at Janapada Loka in Ramanagara near here this year.
Ms. Rachana has participated in a camp organised by the Karnataka Lalitkala in association with the Directorate of Kannada and Culture.
