CHENNAI: In the coming week, `Lights On', a forum at Sathyam Cinemas where fans and critics can interact with artists and technicians from the world of cinema, will feature director Govind Nihalani. Actor Revathy will facilitate the interaction at Studio 5 in Sathyam Complex on April 26. As a retrospective, two of Nihalani's films Deham and Dev will be screened on April 22 and 23 at 9 a.m. Deham is set in a world 20 years from now. Complexities of the relationship between rapidly advancing technology and human beings are the focus of the film as it winds towards a startling conclusion. Dev, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Om Puri and Fardeen Khan, is about Dev and Tej's friendship with an outside element acting as the wedge driving them apart. In a vitiated atmosphere of the present times, innocent lives are lost for political expediency. For invitations and details, contact 044 - 43920200.
