VISAKHAPATNAM: Quarterfinals of plus 65 years singles event of CMR-AITA National veterans ranking tournament here on Thursday witnessed three seeds, including the top seed V. Chiranjeevi (AP) being eliminated. Unseeded Ramesh Gautam of Uttar Pradesh prevailed over V. Chiranjeevi (AP) in a three-hour battle while qualifier M. Krishnaswamy (Karnataka) ousted fifth seeded T.N. Lakshmanan (TN) and No. 3 seed C.B. Raju (AP) was defeated by No. 6 A.J. Keerthi Kumar (TN).
