Fluent century by Chawla

NEW DELHI: A fluent century by Pradeep Chawla helped Rohtak Road Gymkhana to a 143-run victory over Gush XI in the final of the 14th all-India Davinder Singh memorial cricket tournament at the Harbaksh Stadium.

Pradeep Chawla was adjudged the `man of the tournament', while Rameez Nemat and Ajay Chauhan were declared the `best batsman' and `best bowler' respectively.

The scores: Rohtak Road Gymkhana 268 for seven in 45 overs (Pradeep Chawla 100) beat Gush XI 125 in 35.2 overs (Rameez Nemat 66).
