BARCELONA: India's Narain Karthikeyan was just a tenth of a second off Nico Rosberg's time during testing for the Williams F1 team at the Catalunya circuit on Thursday. Karthikeyan is a test driver for Williams this season. Kathikeyan (1:16.456) and Rosberg (1:16.313) completed 97 laps each. "I carried out a lot of suspension work on the FW28 today which produced some positive results," said Kathikeyan. "I matched the pace of the other drivers on track. All in all, I'm very happy with the way the test went, the car feels very comfortable now and I'm confident that we'll keep improving." Williams Test Team manager Mike Condliffe said, "Nico and Narain were on duty in Barcelona for the first of a four-day test which will see all of the team's drivers on circuit at some stage. Both drivers completed a busy testing schedule, running new aero parts and suspension items in the morning, followed by tyre construction tests in the afternoon."
