Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Association of Travel Agents has urged Union Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi to intervene to withdraw the decision of Air-India and Indian to hike the fares to the Gulf sector from this month. Association president K. V. Muralidharan in a statement here on Sunday said the decision to hike the fare by the airline had affected the family members who usually visit the Gulf countries during the summer vacation. It has been pointed out that the two airlines have hiked the fare in the range of Rs.4,000 to Rs.8,000.
