AIFB releases list of constituencies

CHENNAI: All-India Forward Bloc on Thursday released its first list of 45 Assembly constituencies.

The party will contest in Muthugalathur, Kadaladi, and Ramanathapuram in Ramnad district; in Usilampatti, Tiruparankundram, Tirumangalam, Madurai (West), Sedapatti and Sholavandan in Madurai district; Srivilliputtur, Sivakasi, Virudhunagar, Rajapalayam and Sattur in Virudhunagar district; in Tirunelveli, Nanguneri, Sankarankovil (Res), Playamkottai, Kadayanallur, Alankulam, Cheranmahadevi, and Ammasamudram in Tirunelveli district; in Srivaikuntam, Kovilpatti, Sattankulam, Tuticorin, Vilathikulam and Tiruchendur in Tuticorin district; Theni, Bodinayakkanur, Cumbum, and Periyakulam in Theni district; Dindigul and Oddanchatram in Dindigul district; Tirupur, Perur and Palladam in Coimbatore district; Tiruvottiyur and Tiruvallur in Tiruvalur district and one each in Sivaganga (Ilayankudi), Salem (Mettur), Tiruchi (Tiruchi - 1), Nilgiri (Uthagamandalam), Cuddalore (Bhuvanagiri) and Chennai (Saidapet) districts. The list was released by the State unit president and general secretary M.Kartik.
