CHENNAI:
The leaders of the Federation of Minorities met DMK president M. Karunanidhi here on Tuesday and pledged their support to the Democratic Progressive Alliance (DPA).
The federation earlier adopted a resolution to vote against the AIADMK Government for having introduced an anti-conversion law in the State. Peter Fernando, Archbishop, Madurai-Ramnad Arch Diocese, and president, Tamil Nadu Catholic Bishops' Council; S. Hyder Ali, general secretary, Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam; and Bishop Ezra Sargunam, organising secretary of the federation, met Mr. Karunanidhi.
