Labourer dies in EB pole collapse

CHENNAI : A 28-year-old man died after he fell from an electricity pole on Wednesday evening.

Kumaraguru, from GKM Colony in Perambur Loco, a contract worker with the Electricity Board, was attending to underground cabling work on 17th Street around 6.30 p.m. sustained head injuries after the pole on which he was working collapsed.

Kumaraguru died on the way to the General Hospital, according to the Peravallur police.
