CHENNAI:
To clear extra rush, Southern Railway will run a special train from Thiruvananthapuram to Chennai Egmore on March 26.
Train no. 0634 will leave Thiruvanathapuram at noon on March 26 and reach here at 4.30 a.m. the next day. The composition will be one AC 3-tier, 10 sleeper class, two second-class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches. Train nos.2083/2084 Thanjavur-Coimbatore-Thanjavur Jan Shatabdi Expresses will be extended to Kumbakonam from March 27. Train no. 2084 will leave Coimbatore at 7 a.m. and reach Kumbakonam at 1.30 p.m.
Train no. 2083 will leave Kumbakonam at 2.30 p.m. and reach Coimbatore at 9 p.m. The services will not available on Tuesdays. Train no. 2084 Coimbatore-Thanjavur Janshatabdi Express leaving Coimbatore on March 26 will be cancelled.
Reservation will begin on March 24, says a railway release.
