NEW DELHI: Amity United FC, Haryana, resurrected itself with a 2-1 win against Punjab State Electricity Board as both the teams made it to the semifinals of the 17th Lal Bahadur Shastri football tournament at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Saturday. Having lost to Western Railway in the Group `A' league match 2-3, Amity needed to win and score two goals to better its goal average. PSEB, which defeated the railway team 3-1, topped the group with the best goal average. PSEB will meet Corps of Signals, Goa in the first semifinal while Amity United will take on South East Central Railway, Bilaspur, in the other on Monday. In a Group `B' match, South East Central Railway, played out a 1-1 draw with CRPF, Jalandhar. All teams finished with two points apiece bringing goal average into play. Sports Reporter
