Tech job fair on March 18

CHENNAI: Slash Support, a Chennai-based tech support company is organising a two- day tech-job fair on March 18 and 19 (10 a.m - 4 p.m.) at Ethiraj College in the city.

Rohini Jagan, Divisional Manager-HR, SlashSupport said, "Being an exclusive tech job fair, the candidates get to spend time with the company officials. This makes it much easier to set and match the expectation of the job. We are looking for candidates with good communication skills and a computer science background. The plan is to hire over 500 persons. The entire process of selection will be over in three -four hours," he said.

The fair will focus on candidates who graduated in 2004 and 2005. Those who will graduate this year will be put through an exclusive recruitment process in June 2006, when they are through with their academics, he adds. The selected candidates will go through training for four to six weeks covering technology and communication aspects.

So if you are a 2004-2005 graduate try visiting the fair at Ethiraj College.
