Paramount Airways to induct second jet

Expected to land in Chennai on March 13

CHENNAI: The all-business class private airline, Paramount Airways, which operates eight daily flights, will expand to 24 daily services, with the arrival of the second Embraer jet from Brazil.

The 72-seater jet, which leaves Brazil on March 10, is expected to land in Chennai on March 13 after halts in Europe and Middle East.

Airlines managing director M. Thiagarajan told The Hindu on Sunday that with the arrival of the second Embraer jet, the airline will commence twice daily service to Madurai from Chennai, twice daily service to Kochi and Hyderabad.

It has also planned to link thrice daily to Bangalore.
