Jamaat-e-Islami's plea

Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI: The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind on Saturday demanded that the Gujarat Government withdraw all the cases involving innocent people who have been booked under Prevention of Terrorist Act following the Sabamati Express train fire. The party hailed the Justice Banerjee committee report on the Godhra train fire following which several innocent people were arrested under POTA. The Gujarat Government has not yet acted to provide relief to the accused persons.
