Four die in road accidents

HYDERABAD: Four persons died in road accidents in the city in past two days. K. Mallaiah, 58, who was hit by an autorickshaw while crossing the L.B. Nagar ring road three days ago, succumbed to his injuries at Osmania General Hospital on Wednesday. He was a resident of NTR Nagar.

An 18-year-old girl Syeda Anjum died after a lorry hit from behind the motorcycle she was travelling on near Shaikpet nala near Golconda on Wednesday. The victim's cousin Saleem was riding the bike.

K. Prasad, 30, died and his friend Kondaiah suffered injuries when an autorickshaw with a trolley rammed from behind the motorbike they were travelling on at Srinagar Colony `T' junction on Wednesday. The victim was a resident of Madhuranagar Colony in Yousufguda.

A farmer B. Narayana Reddy, 50, who sustained injuries when the DCM van he was travelling in overturned on the Chevella main road on city fringes three days ago, died on Thursday while undergoing treatment at OGH.
