Mubarak, Mashud fined

Dhaka: Sri Lankan players Jehan Mubarak and Bangladesh's Khaled Mashud have been fined for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct during the second ODI on Wednesday.

Mubarak has been fined 25 per cent of his match fee. He was found guilty of showing dissent at an umpire's decision while Khaled Mashud will lose 20 per cent of his match fee for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct.

The decision to impose fine on these players was taken by ICC Match Referee Alan Hurst in a hearing after play concluded in Bogra. — UNI
