MCH continues demolition drive

HYDERABAD : The Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad continued its demolition drive against illegal constructions in the cellars in different parts of the twin cities on Thursday.

Additional Commissioner of Planning & Projects K. Dhananjaya Reddy said that eight cellars, including shops, godowns and classrooms, located in commercial complexes, were `cleared'.

Properties included Narayana College in Dilsukhnagar, Kapadia Complex near Osmania General Hospital, L.R. Plaza, Pancam Complex, Ameerpet, Diamond Complex, T.S.K. Chambers, Bombay Hotel, all located in M.G. Road, Secunderabad, and one more in Mehdipatnam.
