NEW DELHI: Air Sahara flights continued to be affected for the second consecutive day on Monday with five flights being cancelled as pilots went on mass leave in protest against their "reduced'' salaries after Jet Airways bought over the airline.

It is learnt that the airline brought into service some executive pilots in managerial positions and combined some flights to reduce the number of cancellations.

However, passengers bore the brunt of the tussle between the management and the pilots.

With the Air Sahara counter at the airport wearing a deserted look as no ground staff was there to man it, passengers booked on the airline for the next few days were left wondering about the fate of their flights.

According to reports, the airline has stopped booking of passengers on its flights from Mumbai and Kolkata for the next two days.
