HelpAge India aid for flood relief

Four agencies extended the amount

HYDERABAD: HelpAge India, a nationwide agency working for the cause and care of the elderly has released over Rs. 12 lakhs to four voluntary organisations for flood relief works in Krishna, East and West Godavari and Khammam districts.

Cheques handed over

The cheques were handed over to the organisations at a function here on Wednesday by K. Balasubramanyam, Sector Head, GMR Varalakshmi Foundation, in the presence of E. Sivasankaram, the foundation's advisor.
