Burglars strike at four places, take away cash

BANGALORE:
Burglars struck at four business establishments at Jakkur Layout in the early hours of Wednesday and made away with Rs. 12,000 in cash.
The police said that between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m., the burglars entered two pharmacies, a fancy items shop and an Internet centre.
While they broke open the rolling shutters of some establishments, they used duplicate keys to enter the other shops.
Chain snatched
Two men on a motorcycle snatched a gold chain estimated at Rs. 20,000 from a woman in Girinagar police station limits on Tuesday.
The police said that around 3 p.m. the two men snatched the chain from Radha while she was walking towards her house in Vinoba Colony in Avalahalli.
