Mobiles worth 5 lakhs stolen

HYDERABAD: Three persons took away a large number of mobile phones and recharge cards, all worth Rs. 5 lakhs, after lifting the shutters of a mobile phone shop at Kukatpally on Monday night.

Two persons living in an apartment above the shop woke up to the noise. The offenders threatened to kill the two persons with knives when the latter tried to catch them and fled the spot.
