NEW DELHI: New Delhi will resolve pending issues in the banking and financial sectors that flow from the India-Singapore Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh assured the visiting Senior Minister, Goh Chok Tong, on Wednesday. Dr. Singh invited Singapore to take more interest in infrastructure modernisation and development in India, an official statement said. "The two leaders also reviewed regional cooperation including the India-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement and India's participation in the East Asian Summit. Dr. Singh conveyed India's gratitude to Singapore for its constructive role in expanding and deepening India's relations with ASEAN," the statement said. On Tuesday, Mr. Goh held meetings with United Progressive Alliance chairperson Sonia Gandhi, the former Prime Minister, A.B. Vajpayee and the Leader of the Opposition L.K. Advani .
