Police search his residence

NALGONDA: A Karnataka crime branch team on Thursday brought Mohammad Razi-Ur Rehman alias Abdul Rehman (34), suspected to be involved in the attack on the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), to Nalgonda.

His house was also searched. Sources said a SIM card, a passport, a cell phone, two ATM cards, an insurance policy document and some phone numbers were recovered. Ashes of some documents were found in the backyard of his house situated in BTS colony near the Collectorate. A police team led by DCP Basanvar and ACP V.S. D'Souza brought Rehman to the district police office.

The house was searched for two-and-a-half hours in the presence of Rehman's family and revenue officials. Armed policemen were deployed in the colony as a precaution.
