Sonia calls for change in U.P.
AMETHI:
Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Sunday said she was concerned about the state of affairs in Uttar Pradesh and sought people's support for a change.
Inaugurating an eye-hospital here, she said: "We want to change the condition of the entire State like we have done in Amethi and Rae Bareli. It is natural for political parties to strive for power but power is not everything. We have to strengthen the party in the State."
She said the State officials lacked commitment and this deprived the people of proper healthcare. PTI
