Probe Ram Naik's role, says Congress MP

A Correspondent

NEDUMBASSERY: Congress MP Vayalar Ravi on Sunday sought an investigation on whether the former Petroleum Minister, Ram Naik, had accepted commission from business groups for securing oil coupons from the Iraqi regime.

Talking to reporters here at the airport, he said that in the light of Mr. Naik's disclosure that he had gone to Iraq along with interested business groups during the NDA regime and that he had refused to accept oil coupons offered to him, it was imperative to clear the air of suspicion, if any, about the visit.
