New Delhi: Refusing to discuss India's position at the coming International Atomic Energy Agency meeting in Vienna on Iran's nuclear issue, the Government on Wednesday maintained that it would be in accordance with the country's national interest. ``I will not go into a hypothetical situation. Let us see whether there is going to be a vote or not,'' Foreign Secretary Shyam Saran told reporters here when asked how India would vote at the November 24 meeting. Even if there was voting, India's ``stance will be determined by what are the contents of the resolution,'' he said. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had already made that clear during his press conference in Dhaka. Mr. Saran said India's stance would be based on its judgment of the national interest. His comments come amid the Left warning to the Government not to go against Iran's interest. PTI
