Taj, Alok in final

HYDERABAD : Taj Mukkaram and Alok Dubey entered the men's singles final of the Powergrid inter region badminton championships at the Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy indoor stadium here on Wednesday.

The results (all semifinals): Men's singles: Taj Mukkaram bt Arun Shukla 15-6, 15-9, Alok Dubey bt Rajesh 15-6, 15-3. Doubles: G.K. Devangan & N.K. Mourya bt K.R. Arunachalam & K.H.D. Singh 15-11, 15-2; M.G. Singh & Taj Mukkaram bt T. Sivam & Y.V. Challa Rao 15-4, 15-1.

Team championships: SRTS -II bt ERTS 3-0, NERTS bt SRTS-1 3-0.
