Pune: Pankaj Advani (ONGC) beat team-mate Sourav Kothari 4-0 to win the snooker title and completed a grand double in the Petroleum Sports Promotion Board's Open billiards and snooker championship which concluded here on Wednesday. Pankaj had won the billiards crown too. Pankaj overcame the challenge of Kothari, who had stormed into the final after shocking seasoned opponents Devendra Joshi in the quarterfinals and Alok Kumar in the semifinals. In a clash between teenagers, Pankaj did not allow his opponent any chance and scored an emphatic 81-19, 70-47, 70-40, 123-1 victory. Pankaj scored a break of 100 points in the fourth frame to close the issue. Alok finished third in the snooker event, beating Manan Chandra 3-2 after losing the first two frames. Alok won 53-77, 33-59, 60-17, 54-21, 78-29. UNI
