PANAJI:
District and Sessions Judge of Margao, South Goa A. D. Salkar, granted anticipatory bail to the Editor of a local English daily, who has been charged with molestation of his 11-year-old domestic help on Tuesday.
He has been charged by the Goa Police under Sec. 8(2) of the Goa Children's Act for sexual abuse, Sec. 354 of the IPC for molestation and Section 7 (5) C under the Child Labour Act. This follows a complaint by the girl to the women's police station.
The judge said that since the police case did not give details about the alleged crime was bailable.
