JD(S) donates Rs. 10 lakhs

NEW DELHI: : The Janata Dal (Secular) has donated Rs. 5 lakhs each for the quake-affected people of Jammu & Kashmir and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

The party's national general secretary, K. Danish Ali, met Pakistan High Commissioner Aziz Ahmed Khan on Saturday and handed over a draft for Rs. 5 lakhs on behalf of the party. The JD(S) also donated Rs. 5 lakhs to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund, said a party news release.
