Milk coops in Haryana villages

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Saturday announced that cooperative societies would be set up in each village of the State for procurement of milk to enable the farmers to enhance their income. Such women's cooperatives were already functioning in 650 villages, he said at a seminar on "Dairy Development -- Today and Tomorrow'' organised by the Amrik Singh Cheema Foundation Trust here.
