BCCI panel to discuss Chappell's charges
MUMBAI:
A Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) committee will meet here on Tuesday to discuss coach Greg Chappell's e-mail levelling various charges against captain Sourav Ganguly.
The two have been called separately to present their case. Mr. Ganguly will appear before the panel despite the death of his maternal grandfather in Kolkata on Monday.
The former BCCI president, Raj Singh Dungarpur, a critic of Mr. Dalmiya, said here that the only way out was for Mr. Ganguly to "put in his papers" and allow Mr. Chappell to take Indian cricket forward.
