Lupin pact with Aspen

Lupin has entered into an agreement with South African Aspen Pharmacare to collaborate for TB related products market in the Republic of South Africa. The arrangement entails Aspen to make payments aggregating $2 million over a period to Lupin and profit sharing between them.

L&T bags Rs. 165 cr. Oman order

Larsen & Toubro on Monday said its associate company in Oman has bagged a contract from Petroleum Development Oman LLC (PDO), for Rs. 165 crore for revamping and upgrading the transmission lines and substations in its existing oil fields in Central Oman as part of a major infrastructure development undertaken by PDO, the company said.

Binani agreement with Silver Peak

The Kolkata-based Binani Industries has entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Mauritius-based Silver Peak Investments Ltd. Pursuant to this agreement, the company has agreed to sell 25 per cent of its equity shareholding in Binani Cement to Silver Peak, the company said.

ICL Securities' pact with Trishul

ICL Securities, the wholly owned subsidiary of India Cements, has entered into a share sale and purchase agreement with Trishul Investments Pvt. Ltd. The agreement signed on September 23, entails the purchase of Visaka Cement Industry Ltd (VCIL)'s four lakh equity shares of Rs. 10 each by ICL Securities for a consideration of Rs. 41 lakh, the company said.

Welspun Gujrat to raise $100 m

Welspun Gujarat Stahl Rohren on Monday said it would raise $100 million by issuing Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs) or any other financial instruments, subject to shareholders approval, the textile company said.
