VISAKHAPATNAM: Valli Anand of AQJ PG College scored 40 runs and picked up four wickets in his team's 43-run win over Gandhi Degree College in Andhra University A Zone inter-college cricket tournament here on Monday.

The scores:

AQJ PG College 118 for seven in 20 overs (Praveen 40, Valli Anand 40, Santosh three for 14, Srinivas three for 19) bt Gandhi Degree College 75 in 18.4 overs (Valli four for 12).

S.V.T. College 85 in 22.5 overs lost to S.V. Arts and Science College 86 for eight in 15.4 overs (Ravi 41, Uday four for 24, Madhu three for 26).

PRISM College 135 for nine in 25 overs (Anand 46, Naresh 28) bt Al Ameer College 109 for eight (Ramesh 31, Anand three for 18, Rajasekhar three for 29).

Mrs. A.V.N. College 175 for seven in 20 overs (Santosh 57, Chinna Rao 28, Madhu three for 29) bt AGL College 115 in 18 overs.

MIST College 129 in 22.3 overs (Abdul 33, Teja 28) bt JES College 77 in 21 overs (Mohan three for 23, Narendra three for 28).

SKML Degree College and BVK College were declared winners over SAVE Engineering College and MSR Siddhartha College respectively through spin of coin after their matches were interrupted by rain.
