Writers BC wins again

ARANTHANGI: Writers BC, Chennai registered its second win defeating Railway Cooperative Society BC, Chennai 69-40 in the semifinal league of the Shanmuganathan-Nageswaran memorial trophy State-level basketball tournament here on Sunday.

In the women's section, Annamalai University beat Phoenix Basketball, Thanjavur 56-25 to set up a title clash with Armed Police, Chennai, which too recorded its second win beating Pudukottai womens BC 32-25 in the four-team league.

Campion beats Khajamian

At Tiruchi, Campion Anglo-Indian HSS scored a 28 run win over Khajamian HSS in a TNCA-Parle Cup Procam limited overs under-17 inter-school inter-city knockout match ere recently.
