Simply Supreme claims main event

Pune: Simply Supreme, ridden by B. Prakash, won the Idar Gold Trophy, the feature event of Sunday's races here. The winner is owned by Dr. M.A.M. Ramaswamy, Dr. Cyrus S. Poonawalla & Mrs. Villoo C. Poonawalla. Dallas Todywalla trains the winner.

There was a mishap in the Scaglietti Plate as Whispered Secret (R. Pandey up) had a fall during the race near 400m. It was later announced that jockey R. Pandey was out of danger.
