Rail police on alert after bomb threat

CHENNAI: The Railway police in Southern Railway went on high alert following a bomb threat on Wednesday night. Tiruvananthapuram railway police helpline received a call around 8.40 p.m. on Wednesday that explosives will be planted on Thursday in trains from Sengottah, Chennai, and trains from Alleppey.

The person disconnected the line before he could be questioned. The Railway police are monitoring all trains following the threat.
