GULBARGA: The North Eastern Karnataka Teachers' Forum is organising a free coaching camp for students from the Hyderabad-Karnataka region who want to appear for the First Division Assistant Examination conducted by the Karnataka Public Service Commission and the Common Entrance Test conducted by the State Government for entry into B.Ed. courses. Speaking to The Hindu here on Sunday, working president of the forum M.B. Ambalagi said that more than 25 lecturers and subject experts from Gulbarga University and other colleges in the city are training students. The KPSC examination is being held on September 25, to fill 700 vacant posts in different government departments. The CET for entrance to B.Ed. courses is scheduled to be held on September 4. Mr. Ambalagi said the coaching classes were conducted on Sundays at different colleges and at the District Science Centre from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mr. Ambalagi said that stress is being given to mental ability, education psychology, moral education and teaching aptitude.
