Casual vacancy round seat selection

BANGALORE: The Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell will hold the Casual Vacancy Round seat selection process on Tuesday and Wednesday for eligible diploma holders seeking admission under the lateral entry scheme in evening engineering colleges.

The time-schedule will be as follows for evening engineering colleges in Mysore: August 23, 1st to last rank (9 a.m. to 11 a.m.). For general merit and reserved categories, 1st to last rank (11.15 a.m. to 1.15 p.m.).

For evening engineering colleges in Bangalore, the schedule will be as follows (For all reserved, rural, Kannada medium categories): August 23, Rank 1 to 800 (2 p.m. to 4 p.m.); 801 to last rank (4.15 p.m. to 6.15 p.m.). For general merit and reserved categories: August 24, Rank 1 to 500 (9 a.m. to 11 a.m.); 501 to 1,000 (11.15 a.m. to 1.15 p.m.); 1,001 to 1,300 (2 p.m. to 4 p.m.) and 1,301 to last rank (4.15 to 6.15 p.m.).
