The stolen property was then stacked in a godown in Sembium. A raid was conducted on Thursday following a tip off and the police arrested the gang members.

The arrested were identified as Padham (50), the leader of the gang and five of his associates from their homes in Sembium and Red Hills.

Padham was involved in stealing the goods from the godowns for almost a decade now.
