Fire at Bombay High

The destruction of an entire offshore platform in the Bombay High area in a devastating fire on Wednesday is a "national tragedy."

The economic loss, put at over Rs.1,500 crore, is no doubt huge but the sincere efforts of the Navy and the Army have at least helped reduce the casualties.
