Chain recovered

CHENNAI: The Flower Bazaar police recovered a `thaali' chain, which was snatched from a woman resident of Ashok Nagar as she was passing through the subway near Central Railway Station about a week ago. Two persons were arrested in this connection.

Police said the victim, R. Suryakumari (55), went to see off her daughter to Hyderabad and while she was passing through the subway, some unidentified persons snatched her `thaali' and escaped. Police identified the two as Shahul Hameed of M.K.B. Nagar and Somu of Cemetery area and recovered a portion of her `thaali' from them.
