Better show by Ganguly

London: Sourav Ganguly, after his three-ball duck in the first innings, spent enough time at the crease to regain his confidence as Glamorgan forced a draw against Sussex at Swansea on Saturday evening.

Ganguly remained unbeaten on 15 as Glamorgan saw its losing streak — five defeats in a row — stopped.

Replying to Sussex's first innings score of 497 for five declared, Glamorgan was shot out for 301 and following on finished the day at 354 for three wickets, thanks to a brilliant 214-run opening partnership between Mathew Elliot (162) and D.D. Cherry (87).

The tie between Surrey and Warwickshire also ended in a draw. — PTI
