Guidelines on the web

CHENNAI: The draft guidelines for recognition of programmes offered abroad by Indian Universities have been prepared and posted on the University Grants Commission website.

The UGC had constituted an expert committee with E. Balagurusamy as Chairman and P.J. Lavakare, B.S. Sonde, K. Aludiapillai and A.K. Parate as members to draft these guidelines. They have now been posted on the Commission's website - www.ugc.ac.in - and the UGC has sought feedback and comments, which can be sent to Dr.A.K. Parate, Joint Secretary, Bahadurshah Zafar Marg, New Delhi 110002, or by email to "akparate@ugc.ac.in" on or before June 10.
