HYDERABAD: The Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (MRPS) has set June 11 as deadline for securing Parliamentary nod for sub-categorisation of Scheduled Castes.
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, the MRPS president, Manda Krishna Madiga, said: `Madiga dharma yuddha yatra (1,500 km)' would be taken out from Bangalore on April 18. It would culminate in a public meeting at Secunderabad on June 11 after covering 14 districts. He charged the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, with neglecting the interests of Madigas.
