Letters to the Editor
Sir, Notwithstanding the RSS statement that it was a generalised observation, the party chief, K.S. Sudarshan's comment that both Atal Bihari Vajpayee and L.K. Advani should step down to make way for the younger generation is interesting. While the mention of Mr. Vajpayee can be seen as the result of the leader's waning clout in the party, the inclusion of Mr. Advani in the list is surprising. After all, Mr. Advani has been more of an RSS activist than a national leader all these years.
