Obsessed with Modi?

Sir, — The Hindu , it seems, is obsessed with Narendra Modi. There have been many communal clashes since Independence and many people belonging to different communities have been killed. But no other Chief Minister — not even Suhrawardy of undivided Bengal — has been so badly maligned by the media. As for the conclusions of the NHRC, the Commission is not infallible. It did act in haste when Ishrat Jahan, a 19-year-old, was killed in an encounter with the security forces in Gujarat. It was later established that the girl did have terrorist connections.
