NEW DELHI, FEB. 4. The All-India Management Association has decided to confer the J.R.D. Tata Corporate Leadership Award on the Chairman and Managing Director of the TVS Motors, Venu Srinivasan. ``The J.R.D. Tata award has been conferred on Mr. Srinivasan for his vision, support for innovation and exemplary performance of the organisation under his stewardship,'' an AIMA release said here. ``The Life Time Achievement Award for outstanding achievements in professional management will be conferred on Ajit Haskar, an eminent strategist and institution builder whose contribution as ITC Chairman is now folklore,'' the AIMA said. The Public Service Excellence Award for 2004 will be given to K. Vijaykumar, a 1975 batch IPS officer who played a key role in eliminating the forest brigand Veerappan. The awards will be presented on February 21 in New Delhi. — PTI
