Informatics olympiad

CHENNAI, JAN. 6. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), in collaboration with the Indian Association for Research in Computing Science (ARCS), Mumbai, will conduct the National Informatics Olympiad, in the country and abroad. Students of all schools (both CBSE and other boards) studying Classes VIII-XII are eligible to participate.

The board has identified nodal schools in major cities. Candidates intended to participate may forward their names through principals to the nearest nodal school on or before January 20. Details of the examination are available on the board web site (www.cbse.nic.in) and on the olympiad web site (www.iarcs.org.in) .

The first stage of the examination will be conducted on January 29 and the second stage in May.
