Correction

In the UNI report published in The Hindu of December 24, 2004, it was wrongly stated that Nripen Chakraborty, the former Chief Minister of Tripura, has been re-inducted into the CPI (M) Polit Bureau. Mr. Chakraborty, who was earlier expelled, has been taken back into the party and not into its Polit Bureau.
